Learning Outcomes

Explore the dynamic interplay between stress, inflammation, and the risk of various diseases in our comprehensive SMART course. Stress, often dubbed an inflammatory disease, is recognized as a significant factor contributing to health issues such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cancers, and neuropsychiatric disorders like anxiety, depression, and dementia.

This course, led by Kristin Yont, delves into the scientific foundations and research supporting these claims. Participants will gain invaluable insights into the multifaceted relationship between stress and health risks. The course also provides a practical toolkit for healthcare practitioners to manage their stress effectively. Beyond self-care, attendees will learn how to empower their patients with strategies for achieving better overall health and resilience.

Join us in this transformative journey to understand the science behind stress-related health risks and implement SMART strategies that promote wellness for healthcare practitioners and their patients.

Enhance your stress management skills and contribute to the well-being of yourself and those you serve.
